Our label is for beach babes and city day trippers alike so where better a place for the Mahlii girl to explore than hedonist paradise, Burleigh.
One of our favourite beaches on the Gold Coast, Burleigh is only an hour away from our Mahlii HQ and consequently where you’ll find us most weekends, eating delish açaí under the summer sunshine.
Here are our top five things to do in Burleigh…even if you don’t do them all it’s the perfect excuse to come back next time!
1. Eat Out
There are a million amazing lunch spots in Burleigh. Eating well is easy with so many amazing options like antipasto salads from Govindas, lemon & avocado on pita at The Pocket, or delicious goodies and coffee from Commune. Going all out on some indulgent eats at Burleigh institutions Ze Picke or pizzas at Justin Lane are a must. One of our favourite Brisbane restaurants Longtime has opened a new restaurant at Burleigh called Rick Shores in an amazing location - the waves lap right up to the windows and the food is fresh and light, think modern Thai with plenty of seafood and salads.

2. Walking it off
Walk off all the amazing food on the beautiful Burleigh Headland walk with stunning outlooks of the crystal blue ocean. On the other side of the headland is the magical Tallebudgera Creek, perfect to cool down in.

3. Juices & Smoothie Bowls
Helen's Heavenly Wholefoods Cafe does delicious açaí bowls which are the perfect pick-me-up after a swim in the ocean. A little further down is a juice bar with lines that go on forever but is totally worth the wait. Plus a Cocowhip joint has just opened too... just to make deciding on a fruity treat even harder!

Burleigh Beach is perfectly serene for swimming amongst glossy waves, crystal clear water and pandanus palms. If you’re not feeling the waves Tallebudgera Creek or Currumbin Beach are both close by and flat…bring your inflatable lilo and get ready to chill.

James Street at Burleigh is full of amazing boutiques with homewares and clothing. Sean Scott Gallery has cool accessories, candles and bikinis. Further up Monsoon has really beautifully bright & printed homewares to deck out your pad. Plus the Burleigh Heads Village Markets on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of every month have sweet vintage finds, homewares & goodies for the bohemian babes.
