Here’s our round up of favourite green smoothie recipes for a healthy pick-me-up.

Green Recovery Smoothie: by Green Kitchen Stories

1 celery stem with leaves
1 ripe banana, peeled
1 kiwi, peeled
1/2 avocado, stoned
1 lime, juice
1 tbsp hemp protein powder, optional
1 tbsp almond butter or soaked almonds
1 cup coconut water or plant milk of your choice

Mix all ingredients in a blender with a few ice cubes until smooth.

Green Goddess Smoothie: by Teresa Cutter The Healthy Chef

2 Kiwi Fruits, chopped with the skin
1 handful baby spinach leaves
1/2  lemon or lime – skin removed…
½ Lebanese cucumber
1  ½  cups water or coconut water
1/2 teaspoon matcha powder
1 teaspoon Natural Immune Support
1 sprig of parsley

Combine all the ingredients into a high performance blender.
Blend until smooth. Add more water if needed for a thinner consistency.
Pour into a large glass and enjoy.

Vegan Mango-Coconut Green Smoothie: by Kitchen Treaty

1 cup fresh washed spinach leaves, packed (I generally use packaged, pre-washed baby spinach)
1 cup fresh or frozen mango cubes
1/2 medium banana
3/4 cup light coconut milk
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup ice cubes
Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve with a straw.
